My opinions + takes on stuff :3
I believe that:
- paraphilias should be destigmatized, but inherently harmful ones should not be acted upon. I am pro-para and anti-contact.
- while there are lgbt labels I do not understand and think stem from internalized queerphobia to some degree, I will not police anyone's identity and any good-faith labels are a non-issue
- fatphobia is a severely unrecognized form of bigotry, which stems from racism, misogyny, and ableism. I will assume if you are fatphobic that you are these things as well.
- PMOS/PCOS is intersex, at least most often. The vast majority of people with this condition have hyperandrogenism, which is an intersex trait. the biggest reason it isn't considered intersex by the general public is due to misogyny, fatphobia, and terfs not wanting to acknowledge that they may not be "100% biologically female"
- incest without abuse is not inherently wrong. As long as everyone involved is of the same age group, consenting, was not groomed or coerced, etc., then there isn't really a moral issue. that being said they should not have kids. It is comparable to heavily drinking while pregnant, knowingly giving your child birth defects is wrong. I would not advise anyone to act on incest i think it's messy and not worth the drama, but dont think theres anything inherently morally wrong about it
- self-diagnosis-- especially of psychiatric conditions-- is completely valid. Especially for neurodivergences and personality disorders, professionals are trained only on specific demographics (mostly white men), and are trained to diagnose the lowest amount of people possible.
