info on my otherkin/therian identity!
I am an alien cat otherkin/therian. I don't know which term fits me best as my species is fantastical (otherkin) but grounded in cathood (therian).
I have made several edits of cats that look similar to me to make them look more like me, in particular british shorthairs or scottish straights.
I still don't know everything about my kintype, but here's what I do know:
- I am visually similar to a british shorthair/scottish fold.
- I have blue fur and three magenta eyes.
- I have feathered wings.
- I am from space or "another world" in some capacity.
I often depict myself as having antennae, but I'm not sure if I do. Once I started doubting this I've been getting strong phantom antennae, which could be confirmation in the affirmative, or placebo. I've had a phantom third eye and pair of wings my whole life, as well as (though less intensely) cat ears and tail.
My fursona is based on my kin identity, though the star patterns and dark forelimbs are purely stylistic and for fun. I don't know what patterns my kintype has, I feel some variety of stripes? but not enough to be a tabby. I also made it in final fantasy via modding.
